Differentiation
Learners needing support:
- Could use pencil grips to correctly hold the drawing materials.
- Should respond to the music in different ways depending on what instruments they hear and if the music is fast or slow.
- Could try different drawing materials, hold them in different ways, draw different types of lines and move around to find a clear space to draw on the paper.
Learners working at a stretch:
- Should try holding the drawing materials in different ways to make different types of lines.
- Could experiment with combining different types of lines in response to the music.
- Could choose a colour to use in response to the music and change or combine drawing materials while listening.
