Emma Symonds

Emma has been a primary teacher and assistant head teacher, leading English, Wellbeing, PSHE and PE. She has taught across lots of different age ranges and also worked within a specialist setting as a deputy head teacher. As part of senior leadership responsibilities, Emma has worked on curriculum design, supporting her own and other schools to develop bespoke schemes of work. She has led and taught on the Schools Direct Teacher Training Programme, is passionate about creative lessons and innovative ways of working.
Emma leads the International team at Kapow, working closely with international curriculum content and product teams.
She loves reading, getting stuck into a new sewing project and going on holidays!
