Roller coaster ride
This Art and design video encourages children to practise painting smooth, flowing lines inspired by the shapes and movements of a rollercoaster. Pupils learn how to mix paint to the right consistency, load a brush correctly, and paint in long strokes without lifting the brush.
They begin with an expressive painting warm-up, then sketch and paint their own rollercoaster tracks, finishing with added detail in pen or pencil.
