Drawing expressions
This Art and design video teaches children how to use simple lines to show emotions on characters’ faces. They explore how changing the position of eyebrows, eyelids, and mouths can suggest different expressions like anger, surprise or tiredness. Pupils sketch a friend and experiment with drawing expressive comic-style faces in their sketchbooks.
