Expressing ideas through street art

This Art and design video supports learners as they begin designing their own street art, using drawing to express a personal message. Learners are encouraged to think about their audience, location and composition. They explore techniques like one-point perspective and strong visual features to create bold, meaningful designs.

This video is part of Kapow’s Art and design resources, which support the Cambridge Primary Art & Design Curriculum Framework (0067). In the Stage 6 Drawing: Expressing ideas through art unit, this lesson helps learners plan powerful artworks with a clear voice, building on their understanding of street art and their own creative choices.
