3. What does a Kapow International lesson look like?

Every lesson is built to inspire creativity and confidence in both teachers and learners. During your trial, try to explore at least one lesson.

Lessons include:

  • Clear purpose: learning intentions, success criteria, and curriculum coverage.
Every lesson has a clear learning intention and success criteria.
  • Before the lesson: Watch (find CPD and learner videos here), Have ready, Print, Teacher knowledge and Extend and explore.
Lessons include everything you need to prepare before you teach.
  • Lesson structure: Recap and recall, Attention grabber, Main event and Wrapping up.
Every lesson follows the same structure.
  • Supporting resources: towards the end of the lesson plan, you’ll find differentiation guidance, assessment and key vocabulary lists.
Supporting resources.
  • Presentation mode: Editable lesson presentations for you to share with your class. When you visit a lesson page, scroll down, and a bar will appear at the top. Click ‘Presentation mode’ and follow the instructions to prepare your presentation.

4. Discover Art & Design

We’re proud to offer Cambridge Primary Art & Design (0067) – the only primary Art & Design scheme of work endorsed for the Cambridge pathway.

  • Integrated teacher CPD videos
  • Learner videos and lesson presentations
  • Long-term plans
  • Vocabulary displays and printable resources

5. Try teaching a lesson

The best way to experience Kapow is to teach a lesson yourself. If your trial ends before you do this, you can still get free access to a Stage 3 Drawing lesson: See Like an Artist.

Free lesson: See like an artist.

In this lesson, children explore how shapes help them see like artists, demonstrated clearly through an accompanying video. For teachers, two integrated CPD videos offer support for sketching and drawing techniques using various materials.

6. What happens when your free trial ends?

When your trial finishes:

  • You’ll receive a short feedback email
  • There’s no obligation to subscribe
  • No payment details are required during your trial
