Learners who are secure will be able to:

• Draw and describe geometric patterns accurately.
• Draw the Seed of Life pattern using a compass to create overlapping circles.
• Colour their artwork while keeping it symmetrical.
• Create a tessellating abstract shape and use it to form a tessellation.
• Create a symmetrical flip pattern using reflections along two lines of symmetry.
• Design and create a printing tile for use in repeated patterns.
