Lesson 5: Geometric tile prints

Learners needing support:

• Could use a simple geometric design with fewer shapes to make drawing on the tile easier.
• Could use 2D shapes as templates to help draw their geometric design.
• Could practise rolling ink onto scrap paper before applying it to their tile.

Learners working at a stretch:

• Should combine 2D shapes and multiple prints to create a larger, more detailed artwork.
• Should carefully plan their composition to reflect Sayed Haider Raza’s style, using symmetry, repeated patterns, and bold colours.
