Unit 6: Making connections: Imagining the future

This unit is designed as a connected project that builds across multiple lessons. Exploring retrofuturism focuses on developing independence and decision-making using open-ended and experimental processes. Each lesson contributes to a final creative outcome, with learners developing a final piece by combining drawing and collagraph printmaking.

Lesson 4: A vision of the future

  • To test and develop ideas using visual journals.

Lesson 5: Revisiting ideas

  • To apply an understanding of drawing processes to create a mixed media composition.
