Learners needing support:

• Should be grouped with children of different abilities and have allocated roles to support individuals.
• Could be given a broken down, simplified copy of the artist profile using the Resource: Cai Guo-Qiang artist profile.
• Could have alternative roles in the Main event if they find the nature of this activity challenging.

Learners working at a stretch:

• Could explain the effect they are creating as they choose and combine materials.
• Should consider how their stencil designs add to the effect of their artwork.
