Learners needing support

• Could use pre-prepared backgrounds or patterns to edit rather than starting from the beginning.
• Could focus on just one or two mouse skills, such as clicking or dragging.
• Could receive step-by-step support in a small group to choose, place and repeat clipart.

Learners working at a stretch

• Could explore more advanced Sketchpad features, such as layering (see Extend and explore).
• Could create a more complex pattern with symmetrical or radial elements.
