Differentiation
Learners needing support:
- Could be provided with visual prompts to support them in recalling and naming programs.
- Could be given sentence stems such as ‘This program helps me to…’ to support responses.
Learners working at a stretch:
- Could design a new app and explain who might use it and why.
- Could sort and group programs by purpose, for example, to create, to play, to talk, to find out or to control.
- Should talk about how one device can switch between many programs and why this is useful.
