Differentiation
Learners needing support:
- Could use the icons in MakeCode to help them create their own designs.
- Should sequence the icons verbally before coding. For example, “First I will show a smiley, then a heart.”
Learners working at a stretch:
- Should write or present a short explanation of what their program does and how it could be improved.
- Could challenge a peer with a ‘guess the sequence’ task using their icons.
