Differentiation
Learners needing support:
- Could use the Knowledge organiser to help them during the Recap and recall.
- Could use the Activity: Devices and their features: support version. Learners read and match the correct cells with the correct device. Each device should have its own colour. They can colour the boxes lightly or join them with a line.
- Could be given the cells from the table in the Activity: Devices and features: support version, pre-cut and grouped by column. Learners then physically match and stick them onto the Activity: Devices and features or onto a separate piece of paper.
Learners working at a stretch:
- Could use the Activity: Devices and their features: stretch version, which includes space to write about extra devices of their choice.
- Could explain how one input device and one output device work together (e.g. a keyboard types letters that appear on the screen).
