Differentiation
Learners needing support:
- Could focus only on giving the four devices to four people, without thinking of other ways for the remaining children.
- Could use Resource: Device features (support) in the Main event to help them see the positives and negatives of each device.
- Could give their answers by speaking or using pictures instead of writing.
Learners working at a stretch:
- Should give more than one reason why a device should be given to a particular child during the Main event.
- Should compare the features of one computing device with another. For example, ‘Amelia should use the phone to take photos on holiday because it is small and light. This is better than a tablet, which is too big to put in your pocket.’
