Differentiation
Learners needing support
- Should use the support version of the robot feature cards that has fewer features.
- Could use the Activity: Robot features sorting diagram (support) instead of the Activity: Robot features Venn diagram if they are not familiar with Venn diagrams.
Learners working at a stretch
- Should add their own features to the Venn diagram as well as the ones on the Robot feature cards.
- Could try to give a more detailed explanation of the difference between real and fictional robots. For example, “Some real robots can move and make sounds like talking, but fictional robots are shown as talking in full sentences and having conversations.”
