Differentiation

Students needing additional support:

  • Could refer to the Resource: Feelings Guide with a list of emotions and corresponding physical sensations.

 

Students needing additional challenge:

  • Should describe why they think a particular sound made them feel a certain way.
  • Should be challenged to come up with a sound of their own and predict how it might make them feel.
  • Should describe more than one sensation for each emotion.
  • Should think of a wider range of emotions than the basic ones discussed and how these might feel in their bodies.
