Differentiation
Students needing additional support:
Could focus on the actions of two colors; should practice using one encouraging statement.
Students needing additional challenge:
Could consider the emotional impact that words have on themselves and others and share with a partner (for example, “Great job!” makes them feel happy); should vary the encouraging statements they use; should be encouraged to initiate acts of encouragement for their peers.
