Building fin three dimensions
This Art and design video guides learners through transforming flat two-dimensional shapes into three-dimensional structures using simple folding, rolling and slotting techniques. Learners draw and cut out large card shapes, then explore ways to make them freestanding without glue or tape. They experiment with balance, position and connections to build imaginative sculptural forms.
