Programming challenges with a digital Bee-Bot

This video shows how to use the digital Bee-Bot emulator, an online version of the Bee-Bot (available to purchase from TTS). It explains what each button on the controller does, how to give commands and the importance of checking the Bee-Bot’s direction before starting. The video also introduces the different background mats available for creating programming challenges.

This video is part of Kapow’s Computing resources, which support the Cambridge Primary Computing curriculum framework (0059). As part of the Programming: Bee-Bots unit, these lessons help learners understand commands, sequencing and algorithms through interactive activities using the digital Bee-Bot.
