Drawing and creating with Sketchpad
This Stage 1 Computing video introduces learners to the drawing and design tools available in Sketchpad.
The video shows how to use different brushes to create textures, adjust colour and thickness and experiment with freehand drawing. Learners are also shown how to use the eraser, which works differently from paper by creating transparent brushstrokes that can be moved or deleted without affecting the rest of the picture. It also demonstrates how to add and customise shapes, changing their size, rotation and colour to create unique digital designs.
