Expressing mood through abstract painting
This Art and design video guides learners as they explore different painting techniques and create their own abstract artwork inspired by Fiona Rae. Learners experiment with texture, colour, line and shape, choosing techniques that reflect a particular mood or theme. They are encouraged to mix tints and shades to show light and dark, and to think carefully about their artistic decisions.
