Collaborative printing with bold designs

This Art and design video guides learners through the process of creating large-scale collaborative prints inspired by their previous collage and wax resist work. Learners explore different printing methods, such as block and monoprinting. They also experiment with materials and tools to apply patterns, lines and textures. Learners make group decisions about composition and colour, and reflect on the techniques they’ve developed throughout the unit.

This video is part of Kapow’s Art and design resources, which support the Cambridge Primary Art & Design Curriculum Framework (0067). In the Stage 4 Art and design skills unit, this final lesson encourages learners to apply their skills in an imaginative group project, building confidence in printmaking and creative collaboration.
