Creating puppets using card silhouettes
This Art and design video guides learners in creating their own shadow puppet. Using black card, learners draw, cut and decorate their designs, carefully adding details and attaching a stick to bring their puppet to life. The activity develops cutting skills, creativity and an understanding of how shape and light interact in puppet theatre.
