Assembling prints into final designs
This Art and design video guides learners as they explore creative ways to transform their printed map designs into finished artworks. Learners are encouraged to experiment with composition and construction by turning their prints into mobiles, collages or sculptural forms. The video models how to cut, fold, layer and assemble prints in imaginative ways, supporting learners in making confident design choices.
This video is part of Kapow’s Art and design resources, which support the Cambridge Primary Art & Design curriculum framework (0067). It fosters creative thinking and independent decision-making, helping learners reflect on their printmaking outcomes and develop them further. As part of the Craft and design: Map it Out unit, this lesson provides an opportunity to celebrate and share completed work through inventive and personal presentation.
