Bold painting with colour
This Art and design video supports teachers in delivering a follow-up lesson on colour, focusing on mixing paints and applying them in response to the work of artist Jasper Johns. Building on the previous lesson using modelling dough, children now explore how to mix secondary colours using primary-coloured paints and apply them in a bold, expressive way.
